Overview
In order to comply with AML Regulations, Lykke requires all users to complete the KYC process in order to access its services. KYC stands for Know Your Customer that is required for our customers to proceed with fund management features such as deposit, trade and withdrawals.
It is a standard verification process which requires users to provide the following:
In addition to the standard documents, users may be required to provide proof of funds documents. Lykke has set multiple tiers of funding limits that increase depending on the documents provided.
By providing these documents, you help Lykke guarantee the security, reliability and sustainability of its services.
What are the requirements of the documents to be submitted for KYC?
Selfie
- Photo of yourself, with your entire face visible.
- Remove any accessories such as glasses when taking your picture.
- Photo should be well lit and in focus.
- Photo of an existing picture or computer screen is not suitable.
Proof of Identity
- Identification document can be one of the following: ID card, passport or driving license.
- Document should include full name, date of birth and a picture of yourself.
- Photo should cover the full document and clearly show the required information.
- Photo should be well lit and in focus
Proof of Address
- Proof of address document can be one of the following: bank/credit card statement or a utility bill.
- Electricity, Gas, Landline and Water utility bills are acceptable. GSM, TV/Satellite, Internet utility bills are NOT suitable.
- Document should include full name, address, document date and name of the issuer;
- Document should be issued within three months of the current date.;
- Photo should cover the full document and clearly show the required information.
- Photo should be well lit and in focus
